The Templeton Philharmonic

Delectably surreal sketch comedy.

The Templeton Philharmonic ("Best Duo", L.A. Comedy Festival) are a sketch comedy duo comprised of Gwynne Phillips and Briana Templeton. Together, they write and perform original, surreal sketch comedy that is often peppered with stinging social commentary, and dead-pan interpretive dance. They have appeared at the New York, Chicago, and Toronto Sketch Comedy Festivals, and won the "Steam Whistle Producer's Pick Award" at Toronto Sketchfest. In 2014, they were nominated for "Best Sketch Troupe" at the Canadian Comedy Awards.

The Comedy Country returns to Prince Edward County in 2017 with a hilarious summer comedy series featuring some of Canada’s funniest stand-up, improv and sketch comedians – all hosted by The County’s Artisanal Comedy Troupe: TASTE THAT!  The series includes performances each month from May – August at the Athol Rec Centre in Cherry Valley, and culminates with The Comedy Country Series Finale at The Regent Theatre in September.
