The Templeton Philharmonic

Delectably surreal sketch comedy.

The Templeton Philharmonic ("Best Duo", L.A. Comedy Festival) are a sketch comedy duo comprised of Gwynne Phillips and Briana Templeton. Together, they write and perform original, surreal sketch comedy that is often peppered with stinging social commentary, and dead-pan interpretive dance. They have appeared at the New York, Chicago, and Toronto Sketch Comedy Festivals, and won the "Steam Whistle Producer's Pick Award" at Toronto Sketchfest. In 2014, they were nominated for "Best Sketch Troupe" at the Canadian Comedy Awards.

TOsketchfest - Asians on SNL & The Templeton Philharmonic

  • Theatre Centre 1115 Queen Street West Toronto, ON, M6J 1J1 Canada (map)

The Templeton Philharmonic return to Toronto Sketchfest.

Check out their double bill with Asians On SNL!

Asians On SNL is a one-man sketch and character show by Woody Fu. It is his very sincere attempt to create original pieces for an SNL showcase audition, and boy would he like you to see it. Because there's never been an Asian SNL castmember, unless you count Rob Schneider or Fred Armisen, and no one does. There will be absurd characters, dumb puns, physical humor and videos!

Woody brought his one-man show Asian Gracefully to Toronto Sketchfest in 2018, where it was nominated for Best In Show.

Tickets are available here.
