The Templeton Philharmonic

Delectably surreal sketch comedy.

The Templeton Philharmonic ("Best Duo", L.A. Comedy Festival) are a sketch comedy duo comprised of Gwynne Phillips and Briana Templeton. Together, they write and perform original, surreal sketch comedy that is often peppered with stinging social commentary, and dead-pan interpretive dance. They have appeared at the New York, Chicago, and Toronto Sketch Comedy Festivals, and won the "Steam Whistle Producer's Pick Award" at Toronto Sketchfest. In 2014, they were nominated for "Best Sketch Troupe" at the Canadian Comedy Awards.

Check out their new web series, "Womanish", on CBC Punchline.

Lights flicker and then go out. Doors slam shut and lock on their own. If these walls could talk... they'd scream! There are spirits afoot in Templeton Manor - an eerie new comedy show by The Templeton Philharmonic (winners of "Best Duo" at the LA Comedy Festival, and "Producer's Pick" at TOsketchfest).

Help them exorcise their demons on May 22nd at 8PM at Bad Dog Theatre Company, in the second edition of this spooky but hilarious monthly show. The show features some of Toronto's top comedians, musicians, and unusual entertainers.

Be there if you dare.
